Office Care gets its green ideas on the road

You’ll find it hard to miss the Office Care team when they’re on the road, after taking delivery of our very own branded vehicles. Based on Victoria Way, Pride Park we service more than 200 clients across the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire and chose the Nissan Note on account of its green credentials. We are committed to reducing our company’s carbon footprint and meeting the target outlines in out Environmental Policy and these cars are a great edition allowing us to service our clients in a more environmentally sustainable way. Having already swapped 90% of our general cleaning products for the super concentrate formula, which will dramatically reduce the amount of plastic waste sent to landfill. We have also invested in the latest environmentally friendly microfibre cloths, which rarely requires the use of chemicals, n
ow we have made a further commitment to the environment by opting for a vehicle with low CO2 emissions.
Commenting on the new car and the company’s pledge to the environment, Martin Booth, managing director at Office Care said:
“I am delighted that we are able to do our bit for the environment. Since switching our cleaning products, we have more than halved the amount of plastic waste that we generate and have now made a conscious decision to choose a company vehicle based on its low impact on the environment.We are also planning a number of other green initiatives in the future,” added Martin. Thanks go to local design ageny, Silver Birch Creative for doing such a great job of branding the vehicles with our distinctive logo, they look great !
